New Favorite
So I’ve become hooked on a new blog/ website. thepioneerwoman.com
I love it and it’s been lots of fun looking at her different blog post.
I also love the look of her recipes, except the fact that I can’t make most of them because of Jon, so I would be left eating the very fattening food alone, or sharing with the girls, but would still be eating the bulk of it.
I ventured to make this recipe though. I bought a lot of blueberries at Costco and made it last night.
The girls and I enjoyed it this afternoon while watching Cinderella III.
It was tasty.

Love that website. I get most of my recipes from there and my kids love it. We went to a ranch one year and love the food and bryan kept wondering when I was going to cook like that. You can never find good ranch food recipes but she has some great ones.

Anna,
Actually, it was Dandelion Mama’s blog that first drew my attention to her, then MMW did a post about her, and then I finally noticed that you had her on your blogroll, so until now I’ve gone to her site from yours.
I would totally make most of her recipes except the ones I want to make have so much butter and fat in them, plus red meat and bacon. It works if you live on a ranch, since they need it for energy, but for us who sit all day, of course I never sit all day, they’re so bad for. Though I’m sure it still takes a toll on their arteries.
Eden loved the cream and berries. I didn’t call it yogurt.

Oh well, here I thought I was influential, but I’m not.
Her cooking reminds me of Grandma’s cooking.
I’ve thought about trying some of the recipes with healthy substitutes. I’ll let you know how (if) they turn out.
