I love hearing the statistical reports of the church. It excites me to hear of it growth. Just reading it strengthens my testimony. Not that numbers matter, but that new people have found The Church and that there are so many people working hard to keep the work moving forward.

Sarcasm

Wednesday, April 5th, 2006

This article was in Meridian today. I totally agree with it, and think that every couple should read it. Even if you’re not with someone, think about it.
Jon and I try not to use sarcasm in our relationship. This advice came from one of his mission presidents. Sometimes sarcastic remarks come out, but we are pretty good about it. Since he and I are not sarcastic, I’ve realized how much it was used in my life. Not that I am totally against joking around, just poking fun at someone, or being competitive about petty things. We still have our fun times and comments, but they aren’t towards making fun of one another. Anyhow I think it’s a good little article.

Does Sarcasm Belong in Our Relationships.
