Things Eden does.

With my recent post about Lilah I thought I’d write about Eden.

One things she’s up to is being a monster. She loves to growl and eat people. She’s also eaten the grocery list, her clean diapers, and on Sunday she ate play dough.
Hot pink play dough always hits the spot.

Luckily play dough is non toxic, I think, and I’m pretty sure she just had a mouthful and I had her spit it out.

Another thing Eden does is come up and spank you and says “spank spank”, or she’ll pound her head into your butt. Lilah also loves to spank people too, but she doesn’t do the butt head butting. Eden also tries to pinch your butt, but it’s more a tickle. (I pinch and spank their bottoms teasingly.)

Eden also asks “Are you OK?” if she hears a loud noise. Like you drop something. “Are you OK?” or if you run into a wall. “Are you OK?”
She’s very thoughtful. To the point that she annoys Lilah with her “Are you OK?”‘s.

So there’s a little about Eden and a video of her animal noises.

Funny thing…Adam does the same “Are you okay?” thing. I mean the way you described how and when Eden does it is just like Adam! I am like Lilah and sometimes it annoys me!!

I love doggy and monster kitty!

In case anyone hasn’t heard the long version of Mary Had a Little Lamb, here are the lyrics:

    Mary had a little lamb,
    little lamb, little lamb,
Mary had a little lamb, its fleece was white as snow.

    And everywhere that Mary went,
    Mary went, Mary went,
and everywhere that Mary went, the lamb was sure to go.

It followed her to school one day
school one day, school one day,
It followed her to school one day, which was against the rules.

It made the children laugh and play,
laugh and play, laugh and play,
it made the children laugh and play to see a lamb at school.

Wikipedia has even more verses than I know:

And so the teacher turned it out,
turned it out, turned it out,
And so the teacher turned it out, but still it lingered near,

    And waited patiently about,
    patiently about, patiently about,
And waited patiently about till Mary did appear.

“Why does the lamb love Mary so?”
Love Mary so? Love Mary so?
“Why does the lamb love Mary so,” the eager children cry.

“Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know.”
The lamb, you know, the lamb, you know,
“Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know,” the teacher did reply.

I read this post the other day, but I didn’t watch the video, I think it’s great! I didn’t even know that Mary had a little yam, maybe she wanted it for lunch. It’s cute how a puppy and dog make different noises, and monster kitty is the best. I think I will have to link this video on my blog.

While watching this great video again I noticed that the line “fleece was white as snow” sounds like “feces white as snow”, it gives a different spin to part of a later line “the lamb was sure to go.”

Thank you so much for sharing this!

I can never watch this video again without cracking up.
    Thanks Andrea.

    One more thing.
Eden will ask me “You Lacey?”
    “Yes, I’m Lacey.”
“Noo, you Mommy.” and she giggles.

It almost sounds like she’s telling me a joke.
